Privacy Policy
aimydecor.com (“aimydecor,” “we,” “us”) is owned and operated by Giftmwah LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Wyoming, United States. This policy explains what information we collect when you use aimydecor, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
1. What aimydecor does
You upload a photo of a room or outdoor space, choose a style and options, and aimydecor uses artificial-intelligence services to suggest products sold on Amazon.com and to produce an illustrative image of the space with those products in it. We earn a commission when you buy through our links.
2. Information we collect
Photos and design choices
- The photo you upload. Your photo is resized in your browser and sent to our servers only to create your design. We send it to Google’s Gemini API (see Section 4) to analyze the space and to generate the rendered image. We do not keep a copy of your original photo on our servers after your design is produced.
- Design results. To avoid repeating the same work (and to let you re-render without charge), we may cache the shopping list for up to 24 hours and the rendered image for up to 7 days. Cached results are stored under a one-way hash of the photo and your choices, not under your name, and are deleted automatically.
- Your choices — room type, style, what to change, budget, must-include items, and any notes you type — are used to create the design and are stored only as part of the cached results above.
- Marketing permission (optional). If you tick the box allowing us to use your before photo and render in marketing, we store those two images together with the exact permission wording, the time, your visitor cookie, IP address, and browser type as a record of your consent, for up to two years or until you withdraw it. These images may then appear in aimydecor and Giftmwah LLC marketing and advertising as described in the Terms of Use. To withdraw, email support@giftmwah.com.
- Shared designs. If you choose “Share this design,” we store your before photo, the rendered image, and the shopping list under a random link code for 30 days so the people you send the link to can view it. Anyone with the link can see it, so share it only with people you trust. When someone else opens your link, we record a one-time credit to your visitor cookie (an extra free design); to confirm it was a different person, we compare the viewer’s visitor cookie and IP address with yours and keep a short record that the link was opened from that cookie and IP for 30 days.
Technical and usage information
- IP address and country. We use these to make the service available only in the United States, to apply fair-use limits (a number of free designs per visitor per day), and to protect the site from abuse. Daily usage counters tied to your IP address expire within 48 hours.
- Visitor cookie. We set one first-party cookie,
amd_vid, containing a random identifier. It lasts one year and is used only to count your free designs. It does not contain personal information and we do not use it to track you across other sites. - Browser storage. Your cart is stored in your own browser’s local storage so it survives a page refresh. It is never sent to us.
- Bot protection. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated scripts. Turnstile may collect device and browser signals under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting.
aimydecor does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not collect payment information. Purchases happen on Amazon.com.
3. How we use information
- To create your design and shopping list.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site and enforce usage limits.
- To earn affiliate commissions through Amazon’s Associates Program when you buy through our links.
- To comply with law and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to train AI models or for advertising.
4. Service providers we share information with
- Google (Gemini API) — receives your photo and design choices to analyze the space and generate the rendered image. Google processes this data as our service provider under the Gemini API terms.
- Amazon (Creators API and Associates Program) — we send product search terms (never your photo) to Amazon to find products. When you click a product link or “Buy on Amazon,” you leave our site; Amazon then sets its own cookies and records the visit so that a qualifying purchase is credited to us. Amazon’s privacy notice applies there.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, runs our servers, stores cached results and usage counters, and provides Turnstile bot protection.
Each provider is permitted to use the information only to provide its service to us.
5. Amazon Associates disclosure
As an Amazon Associate, Giftmwah LLC earns from qualifying purchases. Product information and prices shown on aimydecor come from Amazon at the time of your request and may change; the price on Amazon.com at checkout is the one that applies.
6. Photos: what not to upload
Please upload photos of spaces, not people. Do not upload photos that show other people, identification documents, financial information, or anything you do not have the right to share. Rendered images are AI-generated illustrations and are not a measurement, structural, or safety assessment of your space.
7. Data retention
- Original photos: not retained after your design is produced.
- Cached shopping lists: up to 24 hours. Cached rendered images: up to 7 days. Shared designs (before photo, render, list) and share-credit records: 30 days. Marketing-permission records: up to two years or until withdrawn.
- Usage counters: up to 48 hours. Visitor cookie: 1 year, or until you clear cookies.
- Hosting logs: retained by Cloudflare for its standard period.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can clear the visitor cookie and your cart at any time through your browser settings.
- You can ask us to delete any cached results or a shared design you created by contacting us (Section 12) with the share link or the approximate date and time of the design.
- California residents: the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: we do not track you across other sites, so there is nothing to opt out of; we honor GPC signals to the extent they apply.
9. Children
aimydecor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has uploaded a photo, contact us and we will remove any cached results.
10. Where the service is available
aimydecor is offered to visitors in the United States only. Information is processed in the United States by us and by the providers in Section 4.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
